Thalictrum rochebrunianum ''Lavender Mist Meadow Rue''
A beautiful very sought after, hard-to-find Thalictrum native to Japan. It's fine lacy bluish-green aquilegia-like foliage is stunning by itself. Add to that sprays of tall sturdy stems with pendulous lavender-purple flowers and yellow stamens and you have a true treasure for the woodland garden. As with all Thalictrum it is fairly slow to establish but will eventually form a magnificent clump. Semi-shade, moist but well-drained soil (i.e. best in soil that doesn't dry out totally in summer). 1.5m x 90cm approximately.
