Cephalaria gigantea

This stunning perennial is a must-have!  This treasure is one of my absolute favourite perennials - a fabulous performer!!  1.5m high stems of large pale lemon scabious flowers are produced from a large, very well-behaved basal clump of pretty, dissected foliage in summer.  Sun, semi-shade.  Semi-evergreen.
