Trilliums, also known as Wake Robins, are some of the most beautiful Spring-flowering woodland treasures. As their name suggests everything is in threes - their foliage and flowers (three petals). Some have deep veining or stunning blotches on their foliage. They thrive in humus-rich soil in cool woodland or shady areas and do especially well under deciduous trees because they get good light in Spring when they flower and shade during the hot summer months. Trillium make perfect container plants too.
Trillium grandiflorum 'Flore Pleno' is one of the most sought after varieties and I'm thrilled to be able to offer this treasure. It may take a year or two for them to flower but the wait is very much worth it.
I will only ship when they are resprouting in Spring or after they flower as this will ensure they are viable crowns and will arrive in good condition.
