Salvia pratensis ''Meadow Sage''

This beautiful salvia is the parent of a lot of other cultivars. It forms a clump of medium green, crinkled foliage topped with numerous stems of gorgeous clear blue flowers over a long period from November onwards. Dead-heading will encourage more flower stems. Beloved by bees making it a must have! Full sun, well-drained soil. Dies back almost totally in Winter in cooler climates. Very hardy! 50x40cm approximately.
