This is a gorgeous member of the salvia family. Beautiful brick red flowers are produced from late summer right into mid-winter. Waxeyes flock to it for nectar. Best in sun or semi-shade in well-drained soil with some protection from harsh frosts. Does very well under my tree canopy. Cut back after flowering. Semi-evergreen. 1.5x1m approx.
