Lysimachia clethroides ''Gooseneck"

A truly beautiful clump-forming perennial that produces stunning stems of arching white flowers that really do resemble a goose's neck.  The flowers open from the base to the tip, making this a fabulous flower for cutting.  Much sought after for wedding bouquets.  Gooseneck spreads via underground rhizomes and can become a bit of a thug in perfect conditions.  If you don't want it to spread it makes a perfect specimen in a large container.  Also a fabulous marginal plant for naturalising by a pond.  .  Sun, partial shade in most soils.  90cm x 1m approx.
