-A stunning old-fashioned biennial that is very easy to grow. It puts on good growth in its first season and then has beautifully fragrant purple flowers from mid-Spring, followed by very pretty papery seed heads. I wouldn't be without this treasure in my garden. Looks so beautiful when planted alongside Lunaria annua 'Sissinghurst White'. Thrives in partial shade in soil that doesn't dry out too much in Summer. Also good in containers. 75x45cm approximately. Self-seeds politely and the seedlings flower in their first season which is wonderful.
