Eomecon chionantha ''Poppy of the Dawn''
This is a gorgeous woodland perennial that has divine foliage and very pretty white flowers with yellow stamens from late winter. It thrives in partial shade in humus-rich soil that doesn't get too dry in summer. It can be a bit invasive, spreading by underground rhizomes but it is very easy to control by pulling out the unwanted pieces. I would not be without it in my garden but if you are concerned about it invading your space the perfect solution is to plant it in a container. 30cm high approximately.
