Daucus carota ''Ornamental Carrot''

A truly beautiful short-lived perennial (2 seasons) that is fabulous as a cut flower, this ornamental carrot adds an airy, whimsical feel to your garden.  Large umbels of flowers in shades of pink and burgundy with the occasional white.  Fabulous for attracting honey bees and other beneficial insects to your garden.  A must-have in my book!  I discovered it's a short-lived perennial by cutting it back straight after flowering last Spring and it's now about to flower again!!  Sun, most soils.  1m x 30cm approximately.
