Aquilegia clematiflora
This is a true treasure with an amazing story! The seeds were given to me by a dear friend and garden writer from the USA in 1996. I planted one in a terractotta pot and this plant has been in the same pot without a change of potting mix ever since and was cared for by my gorgeous Mum for two years while I was overseas in early 2000. Beautiful dusky pink, single, open clematis-like flowers (hence the botanical name) on tall stems in Spring. Sun or semi-shade. Most soils. 75x60cm approx.
