Baptisia australis

Also known as False Indigo, this beautiful hardy perennial forms an upright clump of grey-green foliage with glorious lupin-like racemes of violet-blue flowers in Spring.  It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil and once established will tolerate drought.  Attracts bees and butterflies.  1.2m x 60cm approximately.
