Astilbes are wonderful perennials. They have stunning elegant ferny foliage topped with large plumes of flowers in shades of pink, red, lavender or white. They thrive in partial shade and rich soil (they love sheep manure pellets!) that retains some moisture. Mulch heavily during summer. Winter dormant. 30x45cm approx.
